She studied at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam from 1998 to 2002, and pursued Art History at Leiden University from 2004 to 2006. Griffioen lives and works in Rotterdam (NL). She held solo exhibitions at Gallery Vriend van Bavink in Amsterdam with Foret (2020), at the Erasmus Gallery in Rotterdam with Natur (2018), and at TENT Rotterdam with
