Georgian Era Wide Gold and Black Enamel Mourning Ring Circa 1817Nice wide example of an early 19th century mourning ring. These rings were bequeathed to loved ones in the deceased estate. One, two or perhaps, a dozen could have been made. We have another ring from the same estate that is for another family member. This one reads "Robert Ledger, died October 7 1817. Aged 83" With additional information hand engraved on the interior. English hallmarks indicate the ring was made in London. 18k Gold & black enamel.
