The glass is cut with stylized flowers and leaves and a dense cross cut. Saint Louis is France's oldest glassworks from 1586. Saint Louis was the first glassworks in Europe to produce crystal glass, this happened in 1781. The glasses are still produced in Saint Louis ls Bitche in northern France.
