18th Century French Copper BowlDating from the 1700's, this copper vessel, sometimes called a "fountain bowl" stands on a deep stepped base and has heavy brass hoop carrying handles. It was probably used as a wash bowl in the bedroom of a country house. There is historic riveted repair to the base and rim and slight damage to the rim.
