Miriam Ramsay Holland "Untitled, Montréal Scene"M R Holland circa 1950 oil on canvas 20 X 24 in. Provenance: Purchased in Montral from a private collection by Dennis Monette, in 1960, collection of the Monette family. Miriam Ramsay Holland (1904 1953) was a Montral artist who worked in oils alongside the Beaver Hall Group. In 1927, she was exhibited in the inaugural Eatons Montral gallery show an exhibition of work by more than 200 Quebec contemporary artists.
