Fantastic Old Felix the Cat Folk Art DoorstopI assume this was meant to represent Felix the Cat, but it was done with such minimal fuss that I think it both gets to Felix's essence while also transcending it. And what a magical effect time has had on the creamy white paint, now completely alligatored so as to give this black cat a quire an electric and rather ghoulish guise!! Surely an unplanned effect, but one that makes this especially special, and makes me wish Joyce Pensato were still around
