Large Italian Three-legged Candlestick c.1880A large striking and beautifully polychromed three legged Italian candlestick c. 1880. This magical piece is a real statement. Its body is studded with little naive mirrors. It is flamboyant and baroque in feeling. Wooden with gesso, gilding and multicoloured polychrome. The candlestick has a great patina and numerous historical repairs and losses that dont take away, but add to its perfect imperfect look.
