Sewing Bee #222 BrownA lovely wee mixed media Sewing Bee created from a vintage bobbin, the thread has been wrapped in a very unusual pattern. I made this piece from a vintage wooden reel with a warm brown coloured thread. The two little bees, I hand stitched with thread, felt and wire. The honeycomb is made from painted and varnished paper and filled with honey coloured resin. The piece is completed with a threaded sewing needle. The piece measures 9cm high including the
